Je peux toujours rêver ? c'est le seul logiciel qui manque sur mon portable professionnel pour prendre définitevement la porte de windows !

tu peux l'attaque par webmail, faut jusque que les admins autorise l'acces.
Sur la prochaine generation de Domino (serveur, notes etant le client)le client est gicle. l'acces se fera par le web ou par inotes, un add-on a outlook200X

mon boss m'a assuré qu'il existait un projet de développement de client Notes pour Linux. je me galère depuis qq jours sur google mais rien à faire.

J'ai fait fonctionner Notes 4 sous wine au bureau il y a 1 an
Pour Notes 5 et 6 je sais pas mais ca se tente

domino != notes
 
domino c le serveur qui tourne sans pb sous linux mais je crois pas qu'il y est de client notes pour UNIX

Lotus apparemment ne developpera pas de client Linux, mais avec wine ca marche bien...

Use wine to run the Windows Notes client.
You don't need to be root but you might
have to write a startup script if you want
to support multiple users with their home
directories on the same machine.

Hell, even -Lotus- themselves uses wine+notes(win32) under Linux to demo Domino/Linux at computer shows..
(Linux expo 2001 in Paris and North America was one of them, they even had an installable .rpm of the complete package).

My Solution should work - and is very easy to setup.
 
1) Install wine (http://www.winehq.com/)
Make sure you use it to create a virtual windows drive. eg /home/username/.wine
and not share an existing drive.
 
2) zip up your notes install on a windows machine or if it is on the same machine copy it over to your ~/.wine/c/ directory ( your c:\ drive). Use gunzip to uncompress it in linux.
 
3) change your notes.ini eg :
[Notes]
Directory=d:\lotus\notes\data
WinNTIconPath=d:\lotus\notes\data\W32
- both should be c
 
4) Start your notes client - it may complain about some missing dlls - get them from a windows machine and drop them into the  
~/.wine/c/windows/system directory  
 
5) once you have it working tar and zip the .wine directory (and perhaps burn it to cd). Now whatever linux machine you are at you can install wine and unzip it to the hard drive.
 
voila ....
