tu peux faire :
cat /dev/dsp ?
et quand tu parles dans le micro, des caractères s'affichent ?
La source d'enregistrement est bien le micro ? (verifie avec kmixer par ex)

Un problème ne venant jamais seul, cette après-midi une coupure de courant a éteint ma bécane qui était allumée. Ce soir je la redemare et je n'ai plus de son.
Je fais ensuite :
cat /dev/dsp
et j'ai :
cat: /dev/dsp: No such file or directory

En étant root ?
sinon le lien /dev/dsp n'existe plus.
La carte son est bien détectée (lspci) ?
le module de la carte son est bien chargée ? (lsmod)

Je viens de m'apercevoir que ce matin je peux à nouveau écouter les cd, mais le micro ne marche toujours pas. Je refais : cat /dev/dsp, je parle dans le micro et rien ne se passe.

Dans Kmix :
onglet sortie : master et PC speaker sont tous les deux au maxi.
onglet entrée : PCM, synth, line, CD, mic et aux ont le voyant vert allumé. Mic a aussi le voyant rouge allumé.
onglet interrupteurs : tous les voyants jaunes sont allumés, sauf celui de 3D control-switch

Le micro est bien branché puisqu'il fonctionne bien lorsque je suis sous windows XP. Non je n'ai pas d'autre carte son. Celle-ci est intégrée à la carte-mère.

La sortie son marche ? lecture de mp3 par ex.
Essaye de ne pas lancer l'interface graphique et de rester en mode console (pour éviter qu'un service type esd interfère avec la carte son)
et refait la manip :
cat /dev/dsp en parlant dans le micro.

La sortie son marche puisque je peux écouter mes cd. Je reboot non pas avec l'interface graphique, mais avec "failsafe" donc en mode console. Je tape cat /dev/dsp et la réponse est cette fois-ci no such file or directory

Ta carte est elle détecté, regarde avec la commande "dmesg" les messages du noyau.

Je n'ai plus le message d'erreur lorsque je fais cat /dev/dsp, mais rien ne se passe lorsque je parle dans le micro.

cat /sbin/ifconfig > /dev/dsp
Entends tu quelque chose ?
PS: diminue la puissance de tes HP

Il faut installer le paquetage (lsof?) contenant lsof
Bien sûr cette commande est utile pour savoir quel programme utilise déjà /dev/dsp

Dans mon cas, avec un chipset son qui ne support pas le multisampling hardware, j'utilise Dmix et Dsnoop d'ALSA.
Ça me permet de mixer d'une façon logiciel les flux d'entrée et aussi les flux de sortie.
Le son fonctionne donc en Full Duplex, si tu utilises artsd, n'oublie pas de cocher la case Full Duplex.

J'utilise bien alsa. Je ne sais pas comment faire pour vérifier dans alsamixer si le micro est bien la source d'enregistrement. Par contre c'est le cas quand je vérifie avec Kmix.
Désolé Desintegr, mais je ne comprends rien à ce que tu m'as écrit. C'est beaucoup trop technique pour moi.

Eurêka ! J'ai ouvert Kmix, j'ai cliqué sur l'onglet "interrupteurs" et je les ai désactivés un par un. Et là : miracle! 
En désactivant "Mic As Center/LFE" mon micro fonctionne

J'ai un casque-micro Philips. La partie casque fonctionne très bien mais pas la partie micro. Je suis sur Mandriva LE 2005 et j'avais le même problème sur Mandrake 10.1. Quelqu'un a-t-il une idée ?
