Apres plusieurs jours de recherche et un post sur le forum Ubuntu (ou je n'ai pas compris a vrai dire les explications ^^)
Je me permet de poster ici.
Voila il y a une dizaine de jours j'ai installé Ubuntu 8.01 version 64 bit sur mon acer 7520G
Or je n'arrive pas a faire fonctionner le wifi et debutant sous linux j'ai un peu du mal avec les tuto ubuntu ou rien n'est clairement expliqué.

Peux tu indiquer les références de ton PC, de ta carte wifi, de la configuration wifi (type de sécurisation,...) et là où tu bloques précisément ?

Ensuite on me conseille de faire:
Dans une console :
sudo apt-get update && sudo aptitude install build-essential
wget http://snapshots.madwifi.org/special/ma … 007.tar.gz
tar xvzf madwifi-nr-r3366+ar5007.tar.gz
cd madwifi-ng-r3366+ar5007
make
sudo make install
 
Redémarrer le PC.
Vérifier au démarrage que la diode Wifi est allumée, au besoin manipuler le bouton Wifi Marche/Arrêt.
Ensuite cliquer avec le bouton gauche de la souris sur l'applet NM, les 2TV en haut à droite. Le réseau Wifi doit apparaître, cliquer sur le vôtre et entrer le code Wifi.
 
donne le retour de ifconfig & iwconfig
 
mais la je bloque je comprend la console (enfin terminal) mais j'ai du mal a decompresser etc....
