Serrais-je CPU limited avec une XFX 5870 Infinity

Bonjour à tous :jap: ,

Je dispose d'un CPU Intel Dual Core cadencé a 2,4 Ghz (Si mes souvenirs sont bon c'est le 6600 ).

Je voudrais changer mon ATI Gainward Golden Sample 4870 512 Mb par une ATI XFX HD5870 Eyefinity.

Vais-je être CPU limited ? Si oui, à quel point ?

(NB: Le but est de jouer avec un maximum d'option à fond sur FF XIV online. )

Oui, ton cpu va limiter la puissance du GPU, c'est inévitable:

c'est clair que sera très très bridé

ce jeu est vraiment si gourmand que ça ? ça rame actuellement ?

un pentium E6700 3.2ghz à 90€ (merci ne pas confondre avec le vieu core 2 duo E6700) + GTX460 1go à 200€ aurait un meilleur résultat qu'une HD5870 avec ton core 2 duo

je suis a 1884 points en 1920 X 1080 et 2688 en 1280 x 720.

Au delà du Benchmark, même si ce n'est que la beta 3, je lag beaucoup en jeu également.

Je suppose qu'ils doivent encore l'optimiser mais je crain d'être à la ramasse niveau FPS.

Si mes souvenirs sont bon j'ai une ASUS P5Q Pro.
Processeurs supportés Intel® Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo, Pentium 4 Extreme Edition, Pentium4, Celeron D

Le pentium E6700 3.2ghz est-il le meilleur rapport qualité/prix ?

Etant donné ta carte mère, si ton ventirad est correct tu pourrais tenter un petit overclocking, car un Q6600 ça monte facilement à 3ghz et au dela, et là tu ne serais pas bridé avec une 5870

J'ai ceci depuis assez longtemps (il a tennu 2 CPU :love: ) :

Dans une tour vraiment bien aérée : Cooler Master ATCS 840

Genre avec des ventilos partout

Je ne serrais quand même pas contre changer de CPU, je me demande ce qu'il me faudrait pour rentabiliser la puissance d'une XFX HD 5870 sans changer de carte mere et donc rester avec un socket 775 ?
