Bonjour tout le monde ,
 
Mon soucis est le suivant :
Lorsque j'allume mon PC, à chaque fois il detecte un nouveau matériel et me propose de l'installer. Ce matériel s'appelle ATWPKT2.  
J'ai quand même fait quelques recherches   , ceci vient de Aol, c'est un fichier situé dans C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\AOL\ACS.  
 
Voici les 2 fichiers que j'ai trouvé dans ma recherche :  
ATWPkt2          18ko  Fichier système (Description : ATW protocol driver)
ATWPKT2.VXD      18ko  Pilote de périphérique virtuel
 
Ce que je souhaiterais, c'est que l'on ne me propose plus cette installation au démmarage.

Je fait tout bêtement clic droit renommer fichier quand je l'ai trouvé ?

J'ai renommé le fichier en .OLD et alors ça me propose encore l'install, mais merci quand même pour l'info.
Je vais continuer mes recherches

Le problème vient de là, faut pas chercher plus loin.....
J'ai trouvé ceci:
"Renaming the files has proved successful. To do this, launch Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\AOL\ACS and rename ATWpkt2.sys and ATWpkt2.VXD with a .old file extension."
Apparement faut le faire avec les deux fichiers...Une précision ici, faut faire ça en mode sans échec ?
"This is an AOL problem. The solution is to boot in safe mode by pressing F8 during the boot. Delete or rename the files ATWPKT2.SYS and ATWPKT2.VXD which are located in an AOL directory under \PROGRAM_FILES\COMMON_FILES . These are something to do with the AOL dialer. AOL still works if deleted."
et ceci ?
Evidemment se passer d'AOL...
 
Connecting Without the AOL software using a DSL modem
 
Go to Network Connections, double click on the BT modem connection icon to bring up the connect box. Place your full master screename and password (8 characters or less) and click on dial. Right click on the icon again and select create short cut and select the place on desktop option. (you can remove the AOL software if you like OR just install the modem drivers to start with) It doesnt have to be set to "me only" either, i simply forgot to change it for the screenie.

Merci pour la réponse très complète, en fait je suis connecté sur Aol via centrino alors je pourrait aisément me passer de Aol.  
Je vais tout essayer ce soir.
