Bonjour,
j'ai un probleme pour installer SQL server 2000 entrprise edition, l insatllation se fait correctement jusqu a environ  
80% de l 'install, seulment a ce niveau c coup et j ai un message d erreur me disant :
 
Erreur lors de la création d'une ou plusieurs entrées dans la base de registre.
Consulter : C:\WINDOWS\\\sqlstp.log
 
et je ne sait vraiement pas comment m en sortir puisque je dois pouvoir l'utiliser rapidement.

Est-ce que tu es admin de ton poste ?
Est-ce que c'est le client que tu installes ou ton but est d'en faire un serveur ?
Est-ce que tu as assez d'espace disque sur C ?
 
Que te dis le fichier sqlstp.log ?

Oui je suis admin de mon poste et j ai assez d'espace sur mon disque.
Je pense que je dois installer le server.

Tu ne sais pas si tu installes un serveur MSSQL Server ou alors un client pour accéder à une base MSSQL Server ??

He bien a vrai dire je n ai jms utiliser MSSQL server je sais just ke je dois faire une appli VB6.0 avec une base de donnée SQL server ( ca doit avoir le role  : client/server ) donc plusieursdoivent pouvoir accéder à la base.

Est-ce que tu as rententé une install après un reboot... ?
Il te dit la même chose ?

ok... tu dois en effet donc avoir besoin d'une base de données... Mais quand on voit le message au début, il t'indique que tu ne peux pas installer le serveur, mais uniquement le client (je me demande si le serveur ne veut pas s'installer uniquement sur des OS de type "server"... comme win2003 server par exemple).
 
Et pourquoi une base SQLServer ??... pourquoi ne pas prendre plutôt une base mysql ou access si c'est pour une mini appli ?

Manifestement seule la partie client peut s'installer (voir les premières lignes).
Quel OS a ton ordi ? Pas une version serveur manifestement ?

PS : Tu peux aussi utiliser SQL Server 2005 Express, gratuit, et qui s'installe sur une plateforme non serveur.

Essaie de voir du coté de la version développeur de SQL 2000, elle s'installe en intégralité sur Windows XP
