voila j'ai un soucis avec vmware 5.5
j'ai installer windows 98 dans la machine virtuelle mais mon soucis quand je clique sur "install vmware tools " j'ai 2 boite de dialogue qui me dis :
Installing the VMware Tools package will greatly enhance graphics and mouse performance in your virtual machine.
WARNING: You cannot install the VMware Tools package until the guest operating system is running. If your guest operating system is not running, choose Cancel and install the VMware Tools package later.
il me propose install ou cancel je clique sur install puis la 2e :
The guest operating system has locked the CD-ROM door and is probably using the CD-ROM, which can prevent the guest from recognizing media changes. If possible, eject the CD-ROM from inside the guest before disconnecting.
Disconnect anyway (and override the lock)?

je clique sur yes.
puis rien ne se passe !! et quand sur clique sur le lecteur D: il me sort un fichier audio
egalement ce que je vous ai pas dis c'est que quand je lance la machine une autre boite de dialogue me dis :
Your host's BIOS does not have valid NUMA information.Please update the host's BIOS or associate the virtual machine with the processors in a single NUMA node (CEC). Please read VMware Knowledge Base articles 928 and 1236.
puis je clique ok et la machine demarre.
voila si vous pouvez m'aider ...
info : je tourne sous win xp sp2
