[PHP] division entière et modulo

Bonjour les amis

Comment en PHP calculer le modulo (%, comme en C ?) et la division entière ?
J'aimerai ne pas utiliser de librairies spéciales ou trop récentes, bref du bon vieux PHP qui devrait toujours marcher

j'ai trouvé gmp_mod, mais bon, il faut compiler avec une option, etc ...
