Vraie transparence sous X ? [RTC Warning] - Linux et OS Alternatifs

Yo,  
 
quelqu'un sait-il s'il est prevu d'avoir un jour sous X de la vraie transparence. Par vraie transparence j'entends gestion de l'alpha blending, "ala" Win2K/XP ou MacOSX...  
Je sais pas vous mais je trouve que ca manque quand meme...

Apparemment render c tres bien pour l'anti-aliasing, mais la gestion de la transparence c du gors bidouillage. L'auteur lui meme le dit :D Apparemment il est pas tres fier de lui sur ce coup

Actually, it took *much* more than twice.  Every window had two full-sized  
off-screen buffers, even windows completely occluded by their subwindows,  
all of those subwindows also had two full-sized buffers. A total hack, and I'd rather not see any of that code escape into the wild.  
I've been bitten in the past by releasing horrible code and seeing it come  
back years later...  

 
 
Enfin il prevoit eventuellement de le reecrire mais pas pour tt de suite on dirait...  
 
Pour info y a aussi Berlin qui gere la transparence en natif, mais bon c loin d'etre fini
