yes c exactement ce que j ai lu pour faire !
bon en fait j ai trouve mon erreur,
c t ke j etais entrain de faire un nouveau kernel 2.4.20r5 au lieu du 2.4.20r3 et donc les pilotes il les avait fouttu dans le rep du r3,
il a falu que je rebvoote et recompile les drivers pour que ca marche
bon la j ai reussi a avoir du son,
j ai compile le plugin son alsa pour xmms, je l ai selectionne. ca playe mais je suis vraiment tres decu du resultat. car j entends que ca clipe a fond j entends comme des tic tout le temps c horrible on a l impression que ca sature pourtant les volumes sont bas et meme comme ca ca le fait :S
j ai vu quia une option dans xmms quand je configure le pilote, il propose soit intel 440mx soit user defined.
donc je suis en user defined et c ecrit default je sais pas skil faut mettre la dedaNS
mais bon si kelkun sait me dire pouquoi ca sature je serai heureux

Regardes si tu as pas un/des curseurs AC97 machin chose dans alsamixer(gui), mute les ou mets les à 0 ...

hello
je viens d essayer l install des pilotes alsa pour avoir le son et tout le tralala paskon ma dit que c bien,
je suis sous gentoo, lancien module son que jutilisais etait sound-i810 ou truc de ce style,
j ai fait tout comme ils disent dans leur howto du site mais au demarrage j ai eu droit a ca:
* Cleaning /var/lock, /var/run.. [ ok ]
* Cleaning /tmp directory [ ok ]
* Loading ALSA drivers...
* Loading: snd-intel8x0
modprobe: Can't locate module snd-intel8x0
* Running card-dependant scripts

si klekun pouvait me filer un coup de main silvous plait j aimerais trop que ca marche
