En effet : sur RC2, kernel-source est updaté mais pas kernel.
 
Pour autant, si les drivers nforce ne sont pas installés, il n'a pas accès au net, donc pas d'update cooker, si ? Donc il devrait être synchronisé entre son kernel et ses sources ?

j'en profite pour poser deux autres questions :  
 
mes deux disques windows : /mnt/win_c et /mnt/win_d ont un cadenas, et ils appartiennent au root, je voulais changer les droit d'acces pour pouvoir les lire, mais je n'ai pas le choix de me logger en root au demarrage, il faut le faire dans une console ?
 
dans lilo j'ai linux entrepris, linux et linux nonfb, j'ai remarqué aucune difference en bootant sur les trois. ils servent a quoi ?

Si c'est du NTFS tes partitions, tu ne peux pas ecrire dessus.
Pour se loguer en root, c'est possible mais cache car tres deconseille. Ouvre une console et tape su.
Ou dans KDE, tu peux lancer une appli en utilisant "executer" dans le menu "clic droit sur le bureau" et en changeant l'owner.
En console, chown et chmod sont tes amis.

je me suis logger en root pour changer les droit d'acces des deux dossier en cochant les cases lecture, mais il me met une petite fenetre  : impossible de modifier les droit d'acces.

Pour changer de résolution tu doit redémarrer ton serveur X
Donc si tu démarre un jeu dans une autre résolution que celle de ton bureau : redémarre ton serveur X
 
Le plus simple est de paramétrer ton jeu pour qu'il reflète la config de ton serveur X (résolution + couleurs), ou de trouver un compromis...

il me dit "sceens not found" au demarrage, j'ai essayé de changer  
 Device "device1" par device "NV AGP" dans section "screen" mais ça fait pareil, j'ai aussi essayer de mettre le fichier d'exemple qui est dans /usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/ mais c toujorus pareil.  :cry:  
qn peut m'expliquer le pb ?

modprobe nvidia
 
puis tu relance l interface grapgique : normalement /etc/init.d/dm restart ;)
 
en root bien evidamment pour tout ca ;)

oui tu rajoutes une ligne ds /etc/modules ou tu mets nvidia  
 
et voila il sera loade au boot :hello:
