Je me repond tout seul....
C'est une erreur relative au noyau 2.6 (etonnant g le derrniers ebuild d sources....).
Il m' fallut rajouter dans les options du kernel "psmouse.proto=bare" => dans mon grub.conf en option du kernel
kernel vga=791 "psmouse.proto=bare"

Bonjour,
suite a une installation en stage3, suivi de plusieurs emerge dont je peut donner la liste(mais rien de bien mechant), lors du demarrage de xorg, ma souris ne donne q'un comportement chaotique pouvant même aller jusqu'a un FREEZE complet du PC.
Ma souris est une TRUST : 2 roulettes, 2 boutons sur le coté
Apres la lecture de plusieurs posts, divers essais avec xorgcfg, xorg-config, parametrages manuels multiples sur divers points tel que:
_ Protocol : Auto, IMPS/2, PS/2
_ buttons : 9, options enlevé
_ ZaxisMapping : "6 7"
_ emulate3Buttons : "no"
Bilan : de l'aide !!!!!!!!!!
D'ou mes questions :
1. Y a t'il une configuration passe partout ???
2. Peut t'il ya avoir un conflit ???? (gdm n'est pas installé)
3. Ben peut etre d'autres pistes ????
De plus, j'ai utilisé un xorg.conf de ma précédente install de gentoo (2004.3 je crois) qui a fait comme d'habitude. A noter que quel que soit mes tests le résultat est le même et que bien sur ma souris marche(windows, livecd gentoo, knoppix).
