Xine fonctionne (enfin) mais sur certain DVD seulement  
 
en fait ceux qui ont les fichier VOB en racine
 
exemple :
 
sur Battle Royale en zone 3 les vobs sont dans /video_ts/*.vob
 
j'ai essayé donc la ligne de commande
xine -pd
qui echoue en trouvant pas les vob
je corrige par :
xine -pd DVD://video_ts/video_ts.vob
&
xine -pd DVD://video_ts//video_ts.vob
puis
xine -pd FILE://video_ts//video_ts.vob
&
xine -pd FILE://video_ts/video_ts.vob
 
et il me repond qu'il le trouve tjrs pas  
alors où est ce que je merde ?

Pour lire des DVDs, Ogle est quand même plus indiqué. En plus, il supporte nativement les menus dans le DVD et ogle fournit son propre code de décompression CSS, donc ça marche carrément bien.

D'où l'intérêt d'utiliser Ogle, qui le fournit et qui marche bien mieux que ceux qu'on trouve sur le net.

 
il ne s'install pas il fait une erreur à la decompression

A la décompression ? Ben télécharge-le ailleurs

pour xine tu mets l'interface, tu installes le plugin d4d ou récemment d5d, tu lances xine en gui, tu cliques sur DVD : enjoy

malheureusement tout ceci est faux c'est à cause de ce fait que je suis contraint à le lancer par une commande parametrrée et il me faut savoir comment cette commande se syntaxe...

mais c'est sympa d'essyer de m'aider

ET LA COMMANDE C'EST QUOI POUR DONNER LE CHEMIN POUR LES DVD DONT LES .vob SONT PAS EN RACINE parceque pour le reste ça marche alors c'est juste ça qui manque maintenant....

bon j'ai installé le plugin d5d et dvdnav pour xine ( ainsi que libdvdcss2 ) le tout depuis les rpm de plf ( packages pour mandrake ).

et ce après avoir juste cliqué sur d5d

pour les DVD standard si tout est installé, xine -pd &
permet de lancer en mode detection des chapitres et ça marche.
 
pour d5d je sais pas t'aider.
 
quand à moi le seul pobleme que j'ai c'est de savoir comment declarer l'emplacement des fichiers .vob sur le DVD.

mon dvd marche ...
je n'ai pas de pb. je voulais juste te faire remarquer que moi je n'ai pas de pb avec un DVD n'ayant pas ses vob à la racines.
 
en ligne de commande le combo ki marche est :
 
> xine -p --auto-scan d5d
ou
> xine -p --auto-scan d4d
ou
> xine -p --auto-scan dvdnav
 
par contre avec : "xine -p --auto-scan dvd" , no way.
 
donc il te manque les bon plugins car ton dvd est crypté

avec autoscan & dvd nav ca y est ça marche  
j'ai tout reinstallé et avec autoscan + dvdnav comme parametres ça passe.....

bon maintenant j'ai plus que 2 DVD qui merdent....ils provoquent une erreur "segmentation fault"...
