Bonjour à tous, voilà durant cette période si plaisante qu'est Noël, j'ai reçu ma toute nouvelle G500s dont je suis pour l'instant plutôt satisfait.
Cela étant dit, en installant le logiciel LOGITECH (non fourni dans la boite) j'ai eu un petit problème...

Bonjour,
Je vous contacte suite à un problème rencontré lors de l'installation du logiciel "LOGITECH Assistant pour Jeux Vidéos".
En effet, après avoir lancé ce dernier, le logiciel m'indique qu'aucun matériel n'est connecté; or ma souris G500s est bel et bien branchée à une prise USB et fonctionne correctement (sauf boutons configurables).
J'ai essayé de brancher ma souris sur d'autres ports USB, de redémarrer l'ordinateur, de réinstaller le logiciel, et de mettre à jour le driver de la souris, tout ceci sans succès. J'espère que vous pourrez m'aider à résoudre ce problème gênant. Je vous remercie par avance,
 
 
Si quelqu'un pouvait m'aider à éclaircir ce problème je lui en serais très reconnaissant !! Bonne soirée  
 
 
PS: Je dispose de Vista 7 version 64 Bits (légal)

I've posted a possible solution in other threads here on this forum. Namely:
 
 
 
Install, and then run, LGS as an Administrator.
 
In order to do this, perform the following:
 
Installation:
 
    Locate the LGS_8.50.281_x64_Logitech.exe file you downloaded
    Right Click > Run as administrator
    Complete the installation via the wizard
 
After Installation (make sure you exit the currently running version of LGS from the System Tray first using Right Click > Exit!):
 
    Navigate to C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\
    Right Click on LCore.exe > Properties
    Change to the Compatability Tab
    Check the option under Privilege Level to Run this program as an administrator
    Click Apply
    Click OK
    Double click LCore.exe to start LGS
 
Hopefully now that LGS is running as an administrator it will see your mouse.
 
 
 
If you're having trouble with the mouse drivers not installing correctly, you can try manually updating them via Device Manager and pointing them at C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\
 
 
 
From within Device Manager:
 
    Either under Mice and other pointing devices OR Other Devices, locate your USB receiver for the mouse. Should be listed as HID-compliant mouse OR Unknown Device
    Right-click > Update Driver Software...
    Browse my computer
    Browse to C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\ and make sure Include subfolders is checked
    Next
    Hopefully installs correct driver now.
 
If this fails then:
 
    Either under Mice and other pointing devices OR Other Devices, locate your USB receiver for the mouse. Should be listed as HID-compliant mouse OR Unknown Device
    Right-click > Update Driver Software...
    Browse my computer
    Let me pick
    Have Disk
    C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGSHidFilter
    Make sure Show compatible hardware is checked. Should display just Logitech G700s/G500s/etc. for your particular mouse (or perhaps Logitech Cordless Gaming Reciever.)
    Select > Next.
 
Hopefully now the correct driver is installed for you.
