voilà mon probleme : mon disk dur externe a planté pendant un transfert de fichier, et n'était plus reconnu ensuite...j'ai pu récuperer les données les + importantes avec Easy Recovery, puis je l'ai ensuite formaté par windows (clique droit-formater).
Pour ne plus risquer à l'avenir de perdre autant de données d'un coup, j'ai voulu l'échanger avec un dd que j'ai en interne de 20 Go (dd de stockage également, le systeme est sur un 3eme dd). Mais une fois branché en interne la capacité détectée est de 132 Go au lieu de 152. On me dit que c'est peut-etre le bios qui ne peux pas gérer + (apres MAJ de la carte mere aucun changement), je décide donc de le partitionner pour pouvoir utiliser toute la capacité de mon disque.
Ne connaissant pas d'autre moyen pour partitionner un disc que lors d'un formatage de windows, je cherche sur google et j'essaye avec Partition Magic...c'est là que commence mon réel problème : en interne ou externe, si mon disque est branché quand je lance Partition Magic ce dernier plante...et partition info me dit ceci : "disk error(s) were detected on this drive" puis "disk geometry error(s) were detected on this drive" et "partition error(s) were detected on this drive"

Est-ce que je peux faire quelque chose ou bien est-ce qu'il est mort ? (si c'est le cas vu qu'il est encore sous garantie je le renverrai au SAV) ???

C'est quoi le disque?
Quel systeme d'exploitation? Si XP, tu dois au moins avoir SP1.
Le BIOS detecte-il la bonne capacité?
 

le disk c'est un maxtor 160 Go, mon systeme d'exploitation c'est xp pro (sp1 avec windows update)
c'est difficile à dire si le bios détecte la bonne capacité, car la plupart du temps s'il est branché quand je démarre justement l'ordi n'arrive pas à démarrer (il bloque sur le 1er écran), alors du coup je ne le branche jamais au démarrage...je peux regarder si tu veux, c'est sur le 1er écran qu'on le voit ? (justement s'il bloque au moins j'ai le temps de regarder !!!)
Et pour ce qui est des erreurs détectées par Partition Magic, tu as une idée ?

t'as trouvé une soluce à ton prob ?

oui, j'ai perdu mes 100 et qq gigas de données, et je l'ai renvoyé au SAV...
